Mendoza was established in 1979 by four industrial workers in Barcelona. The company designs and manufactures quality machinery for the bakery sector and launched its own brand in 1989. It started exporting in 1993, leading to increased sales and expansion of its facilities. By 1999, it had a presence in over 60 countries, making it a leading national company in the sector. In 2002, Mendoza added automatic lines for baguettes to cater to the needs of semi-industrial bakeries. In 2020, it revamped its corporate image to enhance its online presence.
