Caplain, a French company known for its expertise, took over Panirecord to continue domestic production. It revamped its image and product designs, launching a new range of machines. With new management, Caplain expanded to over 120 countries and into the industrial market. They offer complete solutions for bakeries, pastry caterers, and pizzerias. Under Guy Richard, Caplain entered the international market from a new factory in Gretz ‚Äì Marne-la-Vallée. Lucien Pernet built a factory in Aulnay-Sous-Bois where they developed mixers, kneading machines, and began dough sheeter production. The company was originally established by Paul Caplain.
