VAKONA GmbH, established in 1966, specializes in manufacturing food processing machines such as tumbling machines, vacuum-mixing, tumbling machines, mixing and blending machines, and pickling technology. It also produces special machines for the food industry. The company was revamped in 1996 by Ludger Höning and has since tripled its production area. It has a global presence with over 100 dealer representations. In 2012, Ludger, along with his sons Christian and Sebastian, took over Maschinenfabrik Dornhan, rebranding it as MADO GmbH. Today, Christian and Sebastian manage the company.
