Universal Robots, a leading industrial robotics company, has unveiled its new UR20 cobot at Automatica in Munich. This next-generation cobot, capable of handling 20kg payloads, boasts a unique joint design for faster cycle times and heavy load management. The UR20's 1750mm reach is designed for full height operation on standard Euro-pallets. The company also operates 100 training centers across 23 countries globally. In collaboration with sister company MiR, Universal Robots has begun construction of a new headquarters in Odense, Denmark, anticipated to be the world's largest cobot and autonomous mobile robot hub by January 2024.
