Sugino Machine Ltd., initially known as Sugino Cleaner Works, was established in 1936 in Osaka City. The company specialized in the manufacturing of pneumatic and water-pressure tube cleaners. Due to the events of World War II, the company relocated to Uozu, Toyama Prefecture in 1945. By 1962, they had built a factory in Hongo, Uozu City and by 1966, they had completed a research center.
